We hope you enjoyed this first week’s harvest and the idea of the boxed shares. Below, I have included some produce identification in italics next to this week’s share list. When new or different items are harvested I will add this to the email. Use the Click Here button to take you to produce ID google doc.
Here on the farm, we have one week of boxing CSA shares under our belt as we adjust to the new system of the boxed shares. Along with that, we have been planting fall crops such as spinach, sweet potatoes, kale, and more. Yesterday we were lucky enough to have a rainstorm and the plants are just soaking it up! Thursdays are the farmer’s day of rest and we were very thankful to enjoy the much-needed rain yesterday morning.
