Recipe: Desserts

Dessert is the course that almost everyone loves to hate – or is hates to love? Talk of dessert is commonly accompanied by expressions of ‘I shouldn’t’ or ‘I really mustn’t’ coupled with ‘oohs’, ‘ahhs’ and ‘yums.’ Its one of life’s many paradoxes; however there is really no reason to feel any guilt over it. Rich creams, chocolate and buttery tarts are fine in moderation – quite simply, sometimes just nothing else will do. Yet fresh fruit can also be a wonderful, light and satisfying way to end a meal, not to mention the fact that fresh fruit desserts are full of healthy vitamins and minerals.
